PokéBase is voluntarily developed and is offered for free download since 2009, at an average of 4 updates per year (the database is updated with each release of a new expansion set of Pokémon TCG).

The development of new features, maintenance of existing as well as updates to the database represent a substantial workload, made during the author's free time.
